Aswad Ayinde, the director of The Fugees' music video 'Killing Me Softly,' allegedly raped his daughters and had several children with them in order to create a "pure" bloodline.

Prosecutors claim he fathered six kids with his daughters since the 1980s to 2002.

He is alleged to have even delivered the babies himself.

Lisa Squitieri, the Passaic County prosecutor handling the case , revealed Ayinde faces five trials, one for each daughter he allegedly violated.

Ayinde, also known as Charles McGill, has 27 charges against him including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, lewdness, child endangerment, aggravated criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact.

Ayinde's ex-wife Beverly, with whom he had nine kids, testified at a pre-trial hearing.

"He said the world was going to end, and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

"I was afraid to ever accuse him of being demented or being a paedophile. I knew the word, but I wouldn't dare use it because it would result in a beating."

Ayinde has to appear in the court for the first trial next month.

He had won an MTV award for directing The Fugees' video. (ANI)
