Scottish actor Gerard Butler is auctioning off a night in his company to raise money for a children's cancer charity.

The '300' star is offering up the date to benefit non-profit organisation Kids Kicking Cancer, which teaches martial arts to empower young patients, reports contactmusic.com.

Fans who make a $20 donation to the programme will be entered into the raffle draw for a date with Butler.

He's also handing over invitations to an upcoming film premiere and a visit to one of his films' sets.

Stars including Josh Hartnett, Jessica Biel, Hugh Jackman and the Jonas Brothers have also donated to Kids Kicking Cancer.
